Our 100% Natural Yak Snacks are made from an ancient recipe using the purest milk from healthy, free to roam at high altitudes (15,000 ft+) Yaks & Cows that feed on on the freshest herbs and other medicinal plants in the Himalayas.
Our Yak Snacks differ to many others as we have a minimum of 40% Yak milk in every bar!! Whereas some manufacturers use no Yak milk at all, which can provide an unpleasant flavour for dogs. The high Yak milk content is what makes our bars yummier, more solid and longer lasting than others.
Using a 6 step process they contain Yak and Cow milk, Salt and Lime juice, with no nasties! Each bar is handmade in the Himalayas, then smoked, which leads to the unique colour and markings on each bar.

When your dog is near the end of their yak soak in water for 5 mins, then microwave for around 30 seconds (in 10 sec intervals) to create a delicious puffed cheesy treat - leave to cool for 5 mins, give it back to them for added enrichment & to prevent the possibility of choking.
Always remember to provide fresh drinking water and keep an eye on your dog with any treat. Monitor chew size and when small enough to swallow whole remove and puff up (see tip above).
We do not guarantee how long they will last. They are softer than the likes of antler, but much tougher than most regular dog chews. We recommend you allow your dog to chew the bar from a few minutes to 20 mins a day. Depending on how much they chew, the bar can last from 10 days to 3 months using this method.

Please be mindful when selecting treats or toys for your dog. Some of our packs contain food safe desiccant sachets to keep the product as fresh as possible, these are not to be consumed. Due the the nature of our natural treats the size, weight and colour may vary. Our toys are tough but not indestructible, replace immediately when worn or damaged.
